April in Canmore is Mouth-Watering
The food scene at the Georgetown Inn this April is hot and oh so yummy! Whether it's sinking your teeth into the Bow Valley's best burger or joining in Canmore's award-winning food and wine festival, the Georgetown is host to great food and fun.
Known for many years as the best fish and chips in the Bow Valley, the Georgetown Inn is now famous for its signature Triple Crown Burger. Canmore's Burger Showdown was hosted by Mountain FM where people were asked to visit the Georgetown Inn and the Grizzly Paw Brewing Company and then after liking their lips, to vote on their favourite. The Triple Crown Chicken Burger, named after the Inn's 3-mountain hiking challenge, features a succulent Alberta grain-fed grilled chicken breast topped with smoked gouda and local Valbella Meats bacon. The burger stack is then topped with homemade apple chutney, lettuce, tomato and Miner's Lamp housemade mayonnaise resting on a kaiser.
